We can reach any homes within our catchment area (Huntingdon, St Ives, Chatteris and surrounding Cambridgeshire villages) within 30 minutes, providing we are not already with a customer!
Estimates can be given over the phone but can only be as accurate as the information provided by the customer. As we have free call out, we recommend a site visit, when an accurate quote can be given.
This is the kitemark for the British Standard and should be visible on all British Standard locks. If you believe your lock is British Standard, but cannot find this kitemark, feel free to call us and we will try to direct you to where it can be found.
The short answer is no, you do not “need” British Standard locks, however, most insurance companies will give significant discount if your locks are British Standard.
However, you should be aware that to remain competitive, most insurance companies will stipulate the need for British Standard locks on your property without informing you. We offer a free Property Insurance Survey, where we will come to your property and check your current locks and security against that required by your insurer.

Unfortunately not, Credit card machines can be quite costly, and this cost would have to be passed on to the consumer, something we are trying to avoid. We do however, take Cash, Cheques, or Bank Transfers.
Yes, all work carried out is guaranteed and all of our products come with a one year warranty.
We carry most common locks and rarely do not have an item to fit. However, in the event that we cannot provide you with one the same day, an overnight will be fitted and the correct lock can be with you within one working day provided it is ordered before 6pm.
